You May Be Wondering….

Do we accept insurance?

As of October 31st, 2024, Little Learners Speech Therapy will have private pay options only due to decreased reimbursement rates from a variety of insurance companies.

Why Private Pay?

I understand you may be wondering why we're a private pay practice. Let me explain. By offering private pay, we can immediately focus on helping your child without the delays or complications that come with insurance companies. No more worrying about eligibility requirements or limits on therapy sessions. We design a treatment plan specifically tailored to your child’s needs—without outside restrictions. And don't worry, we’ve got you covered! We provide all the documentation you need (in the form of a superbill) to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Little Learners Speech Therapy LLC is a private pay practice that accepts cash, checks, credit cards, Zelle, or an HSA/FSA card at the time of service. A superbill may be provided upon request, but no guarantee retroactive payment and/or coverage can be assured.

What are your private pay rates?

Please email me at littlelearnersspeechtherapy@gmail.com for rate and therapy inquiries.

How can we pay for services using out-of-network benefits/reimbursement options?

Using Out-of-Network Insurance Benefits: Your insurance plan may still cover a large portion of your therapy costs if you have an “out-of-network” benefit for speech therapy/feeding therapy/AAC therapy. You may look up your plan details.

Getting reimbursement using your out-of-network benefits is easy. Just ask me for a “superbill.” It will have all the information your insurance company will need to process a claim for you. They will send you a check in the mail for whatever portion is covered, usually within a couple of weeks.

Health Savings Accounts: Therapy Services are eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), and health reimbursement account (HRA). These are tax-advantaged savings accounts that allow you to use pre-tax money toward your child’s therapy sessions. This way, you get the full value of your dollar (no taxes) and you reduce your income(lower taxes overall).

Where do therapy sessions happen?

We bring therapy directly to you! We understand how important it is for your child to feel comfortable in their own home, and we value your involvement in the process. Plus, it eliminates the hassle of traffic, being late for an appointment, or traveling when it's raining/snowing! If a home visit isn’t convenient, we also offer travel services to your child's daycare or preschool. We have plenty of options to choose from!

How long do we get to hang with your child?

At Little Learners, we prioritize fun and flexibility! Our session lengths are customized to fit your child's unique needs and attention span. With options ranging from 30 to 60 minutes, we’ll discover the perfect duration that keeps your little one engaged and motivated. Together, we can ensure that speech therapy is a positive and enjoyable experience for your child.
